Yet again, i did minimal painting work tonight. So there is now a chance, Duregar will paint up a few Cadian squads before i finish half the grey hunter pack. One hunter is still slowly progressing onwards, and all that needs to be done for him is his bolter arm + bolter, right shoulder pad, minor touch ups on his backpack and his eyes. All of which can/could be done in one sitting if i get enough time to do so. But as i always say, we'll see how it goes.
Later on in the week, im thinking of re-creating my links section, so its a bit more organised and done in a category-like style. At this point in time, ill probably be adding in 4 new links (two image hosting, two web-comics).
Hopefully ill have some more pleasing news for tomorrow.

Hi, yeah, eating Marines is fun, I did that as well... ;) But on the battle field.
Do you think I´ll paint up a few Squads of Cadians before your Grey Hunters are finished..? We´ll see... ;P I still haven´t figured out the smock but the rest is planned. Hmm, is this you Blog you say..?! :D
What´s the status on the Grey Hunter Pack now? One fully finished and 3-4 almost complete..? Or they need slightly more work..?

Heh heh... You did indeed eat marines for sure, although i meant eat from the Tyranid POV ;)
I think you'll have a few squads of Cadians done up before i finish my Grey Hunters for sure. Sure i know what color scheme im using, but i take AGES! That, and Marines are a bit more on the detailed side of things, and you can easily paint up a few Cadian Squads in a few days if you tried.
I actually havent done much painting the past two days now, not cos im not motivated to do it, but more of im not motivated to do ANYTHING really. Hopefully that will change tomorrow, as im HOPING to make it to work, get stuff done, come home NOT be tired and do stuff here. Well, thats the plan anyway. Plus I'm going to try and move my painting set up back into my room, for the sake of access and everything. Its alot to move, but i wanna try that, saves me from going to the Dining Table to do stuff as everything would be literally RIGHT behind me. Staus wise, one if fully finished, 1 is about 85% there, 1 is 70% there, another one is about 60% and the rest well, about 5% heh heh. Although, two havent been touched yet, one needs to have a wolf tooth necklace fixed up and the other, well i think i need to glue some more rocks onto his base before he hits the painting line.
Heh, the pleasing news WAS supposed to say i have another finished grey hunter, alas that is not the case.

As for me painting faster..? I doubt it, but recently I´ve made some progress. Otherwise I´ve only assembled stuff lately. Oh, and messed up my Space Wolves (I´ve now changed my mind and will fix them back to Shadow Grey, oh dear...).
Can´t wait for the next ´Hunter! ;)

I painted 6 gaunts bleache bone. That is termagant bodies. I have yet to decide what they're gonna be exactly, gonna wait for the new codex.
atm I got 6 gaunts @ 45 % (excl arms and bases) and 2 at 90%.
But when the red is done, there will be lots of gaunts ready at once.
Marines are indeed a bit more work, but painting gaunts can be mind numbing.

Well ur doing alot better than me painting wise, thats for sure.
Heh, this is why when i start my Nid army its gonna be the metallic black look :P That way i wont have to worry about the mind numbing part. Hell in theory it should mean a Nid army will be the fasted army i could ever paint.. Scary thought...

it's not the color. It's just gaunt, gaunt, gaunt, gaunt, gaunt ,gaunt...oh wait got plenty more where they came from: gaunt, gaunt etc.
You could spray paint them black and finish with the metallic..Saves some time :P
And my gaunts aren't even highlighted. Just body: Bbone, carapace red gore, eyes & tongue blood red; holes: some green (goblin?) and joints: scorched brown.
I thought you kinda guessed the scheme after seeing my tyrant :D

Heh, i still havent installed DoW yet (been rather lazy this past week) so to add in your question about the hunters, go back to the lazy statement. Nothing has been touched for a few days (almost a week now, i think) so yeah.. Just been a yucky week really.

Yeah, i havent been feeling too great the past week and a bit, and its not just 40K stuff, its EVERYTHING to be honest, so im like behind in ALOT of stuff. Ive been popping into the B&C again, but i dunno, not finding many threads needing my 2 cents to be honest. Maybe its just me.
As for the 'Nids, not that tempted. Sure ill get the codex, but i actually want to try and acquire some of the still current models eg Hive Tyrant, as i want to convert this Nid army a fair bit into a more typical Aliens/Gigerisque look.
And yeah, ill try DoW... eventually..

@Rico - No i havent tried DoW, yeah yeah, i know im evil rah rah rah. Still need to free up space on my laptop, since ive been going on an MP3 downloading craze like there was no tomorrow. But fear not, i will TRY it out ASAP.
@Arjan - Read my stuff to rico about DoW :P Yeah, vitamins might not be a bad idea, i had some blood work done last weekend, havent got a call back, so im guessing everything must be "normal" enough to count as ok. I'll probably ring up tomorrow and see if i can make an appointment just to have a look at them.
@Tobias - Spammer :P It has been a bit of a low period in time as of late, processing of my work for my final thesis amongst one things, and the fact my sleep habits are still as messed up as before.
Ill get to your email(s) by the end of this week, and dont worry, im back on the B&C again, although im not finding that many posts to reply to without doing another mass "spam" thing again. Havent done much 40K wise as of late, although i DO need to move my current painting set up to my room, the downside is, its going from the nice large space of my dining room table to a small lil "cubicle" as such and yeah, its going to be VERY tight. I'll see how the end of the week goes and i DO need to get a new post up ASAP too, it only really hit me, its now May, ugh time flies.
