Although I havent set up the digicam for the latop again OR done any painting, I did install DoW and well, it works pretty ok. Havent played it fully yet, but I might give it a go later tonight.
Otherwise, things are slowly getting back on track...
This will probably be the shortest entry Ive done in My entire life...

don't linger on msn any longer: To war! There are supposed to be thingies online with which you can paint your army in DoW into an more precise color scheme (as they did with the Pointy Sticks of Tsoalr).

CHARRRGGGEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Man if I end up wanting a Blood Ravens army, I so blame DoW! Is it also so wrong to play the standard tactical squad like I would NORMALLY in 40K? I know I have the options for two heavy weapons, but I always keep the one heavy, one special.
But yeah, good game, a bit easier to use compared to say C&C in terms of selecting units. Plus the being hit by a Thunder Hammer is somewhat amusing.
Overall, not bad a game at all.. Might try the Campaign later on and see how that goes.

I always stuff my tacs full with either launchers or plasma g's in DoW
now get ur raiders and stuff m full of termies incl yr chars and reap some roky butts!
Hi, I´ve been a bit busy the last weeks... What do i need to catch up..?
Wow! Finally you installed Dawn of War.:! ;D Just took, what, a year...? (Well, almost! ;P)
I haven´t played it too much myself and only "skirmishes" but it´s fun. The Orks are coolet of course! ;)
Are Terminators really that good..? When I tried them they died like flies, ie. A LOT (hmm, like in *real* Farty K?)!
No! Don´t get any weedy Blood Ravens!! Don´t you have enough armies?! ;D

what you need is some apothecaries in yr termies and ALWAYS pimp em with assault cannons and be sure to use your libbie and commander powers whenever they come available!
Ahh! Too much clicking, i hate those weedy psychic powers and wotnot..! ;P

@Erwin - Im sure my tactics will change eventually, but for some reason I cant play DoW without thinking (whats the strength of a plasma gun? whats its range?? etc etc).
@Tobias - Yeah it took me a while, but I got it running. I've only played the tutorial thus far, but Im sure ill move to the actual campaign soon enough. When I played the tute I think I only had 2 scout squads running and a few 'tactical' squads. I didnt even bother with Assault marines. Did make a Dread though. Im sure Ill move to the Termies soon enough.
Yeah I have enough armies, so no blood ravens for me *phew*
Gah to hotmail.. Oh well.. Ill still have to hear from you soon though my friend!!

I haven´t tried Assault Marines too much, too weedy it seems. And shooting (in DoW) is soo much more fun! Those Devastators with four heavy bolters do pour out some lead! ;)
I do as you, however, think too much in 40k mechanichs...
And want "fluffy" Squads...
Have you found and read "Soul Drinkers" yet, by the way..? i could accept if you got another army, of them! ;) But not those weedy Blood Ravens... ;P

I still havent got Blood Drinkers yet (have the last two). Might have to try and have a sneak peak for it within the next week or so. Although I already paint an army in purple :P

Nah havent tried the orks yet (what a barbaric army *spits on them* :P)
Up to Mission 4 of the Campaign, but damn are the orks friggin endles in their number >.< Must admit though, dreadnoughts KICK ASS! And Arjan was right, Killer Kans do have this bad habit of knocking you around the place...... Thank gawd plasma doesnt overheat!
