However, I thought I would show that I am indeed still alive by posting a minor update to something I am doing for a local comp here. The model is far from finished (and I suddenly see why folks say it's a pain to put together). However, I thought it would be a rather symbolic way of my slow return!

It looks like one mean critter, and a cool one at that. Is the pineapple shaped thing part of original scenery for a/the base?

I still have another two pairs of wings to attach, but yeah the Angelius is definitely a nasty lil Warbeast.
The pine-apple thing, which is a foam cone that i've tried to cut into to make more stone looking. Definitely not a part of the original basing that's for sure. In fact, when i get more shots done, i'll try to explain that the original model itself actually has a flat tail section that sits on the base.
Hopefully i'll do the remaining wings tonight (now that i know that Glue is a natural accelerant for super glue) so tomorrow can be spent GS'ing the gaps and then all the easy stuff begins!
