Continued Gundam Work

Did a bit of minor work - Finished off the head for Nadleeh, which I will admit, has probably been one of the more fiddly heads I have done thus far but it looks pretty ok, although I was hoping it would look a tad bit more like it would in the show.

No further work has been done on the Geara Zulu, but I did start up the Blitz Gundam (1/144 HG from Gundam Seed) and I was actually quite disappointed that the kits back then were still semi-simplistic and hadn't been produced in the same way the Gundam 00 kits were. So with that all in mind, I'm going to guess alot of the major changes to the 1/144 scale must have occured no more than the last 5 years, but definitely within the last 2-3 years as that is when Gundam 00 came along. Will admit I have had more fun with the Gundam 00 kits, heck Exia (and Exia Repair II) were definitely some complex kits given what I had experienced back from 10 odd years ago.

Was tempted to start up the Virtue (Gundam 00 1/144 HG) alas with the whole sleep time concept starting to kick in, I might have to give it a miss.

Also in complete randomness since I am watching Gundam Seed... This will probably be spoilerific, so I might change the text color: but my goodness the character of Flay Allster IS CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is all!

I know a really good concept for you to start painting all kinds of 40K again!!
The new killteam rules!
200pts
0-2 troops
0-1 elite
0-1 Fast attack

Everything is deployed separately, restrictions to sq selection apply as normal (so minimum 5 marines etc). 3 models may select a power from the special rules (e.g. feel no pain, move through cover etc)

That's it. I'm starting up a Kroot list with my housemate!

Oh, when did these come out?

Sounds interesting, could be a good way back in, since starting off small is good.

New WD stuff? Or somewhere else?

battlemissions.I could scan the Killteam for you. It's been around since april.
Not worth to buy the book though..
Kill team is the best mission in there and there are a couple of others that will really be fun.

3 baneblades trying to escape from the board against 1500pts.
Or
A mission where you use an arm incl. a character which can only be killed by the enemy character - his/her last wound that is.

I've done a variation on the baneblade theme against a Baneblade, a chaos titan and a LRC.

btw..the kroot models are awesome. Except for those damn krootox riders. The internet is full of rightfully crying modellers. We've got two of them..and they're driving me mad trying to bend and twist them into something that can be saved with amateur greenstuffing..

It's fething hard! *speaking of which..I just got the 3rd Gaunt's ghost omnibus through the mail !

Yeah Kroot models arent too bad. A friend of mine played Kroot for a while.

I also found my copy of Battle Missions. The Kill Team rules arent too bad, may have to try and make some small forces and work my way back up.
